Today is the Kronia festival in the Athenian Festival Calendar that many Hellenic Polytheists adhere to. It is a day when we remember Kronos and Rheia — the Titan rulers of the Golden Age of man….
There are things about the Kronia that we need to remember though.This festival was one where the USUAL social mores were turned upside-down and served as a reminder that society is the way it is for a reason.
Now, we need to think about those reasons. If the reasons are good, we need to support them. If not, like Zeus supplanting Kronos, we need to change them
Both the rulers give us guidance…..
